Rear hub motor difference

Hi guys , I was watching a video of the new 2017 Easy Motion bikes and they say there Dapu rear hub motor is improved from last years models. My point is that I was wondering if there new Dapu motor is better built then the ones on our Ridge Rider ? I wonder what the difference is ?

The new easy motion bikes are using a through axle for the hub motor (not sure how!), which improves removing and attaching the real wheel considerably. If they've made other improvements to their already good hub motors, I'm sure that would include performance related improvements as well.

If I'm not mistaken both Stromer and Specialized have been using through axles with their rear hub motors for years. I think it's fairly common place these days.
