bike seems dead

hi, i have looked at display and theres no connection in the wires to check. is it worth opening up the display?
thanks
You probably cannot open it. I have found mine (KT LCD3) use waterproof sealant to hold the case together. and difficult to split.

These pics are from a third party review of your bike. Are they correct?

.
Bristol seems to make a quality bike, and even 10 years ago, quality bikes use a handlebar harness, where the display and electrical connects from the brake levers plug into a harness. Follow the cables down til you see a connector. Pull it apart and re-connect, Might even solve your problem,

If it does not. you can check for voltage at the connetor, but let's leave that for now.

It sounds like you have a Bristol Bike with an e-bike kit added to it?

It looks like a Panda E-bike Kit is still available?

You may be able to replace some parts depending on what's wrong with your Ebike?

You should also be able to replace the controller and display with a KT controller/display and reuse everything else from your kit without too much trouble, if your controller and/or display are the problem.

EDIT: I just clicked on every Panda conversion kit, and they are all out of stock.
