Rear derailleur out of alignment. How to fix?

Went through some very thick mud, chain got stuck and now the rear deraileur looks like this.

Do I need a new one or can I fix it?

I thought I would try a new one on my St2. It made a major improvement. All those little bumps to cage hanger add up to making adjustments difficult. Well worth the $50.

Is the lock pin engaged (round button with lock symbol on it)? Maybe dirt got in it and is holding the pin in the lock position.
