RadRunner Console with Pets? Pictures?!

Hi guys, I'm finishing a review of the RadRunner Plus and was told that some people who own this ebike will purchase the console bucket thing and put a pad or towel at the bottom for their pets to ride along! That's awesome... I'd love to include some pictures of this in my review, with permission, so I'm curious if any of you have done this? If so, please reply and upload some pictures that I can use and your pet will be famous :D  🐶 🐱

For those who are unfamiliar, this is the RadRunner, and this is the center console bucket accessory I'm referring to 😉

Those are awesome pictures, especially the sunset! Personally, I’d be a tad worried about jostling the dog in the console, especially because of how stiff the frame is and the lack of suspension, but I live in a city with really poorly maintained streets. The Plus with its suspension fork should really help with comfort

Depending on the size of the pet, I would be just slightly worried about the console breaking loose with too much weight shifting around inside over a period of time -- those mounting screws are not of the highest quality, and the plastic on the console strikes me as potentially susceptible to breaking away from the smallish washers on those screws. If nothing else, I would be inclined to beef-up those washers to help ensure a stable mount.

Personally, I’ve found the mounting to be pretty sturdy, but having only had the bike for a week or so, it’s still pretty much new.

Be that as it may, I am willing to bet that RPB would not condone carrying pets in their center console, nor accept responsibility in the event of an accident, and particularly now that they have a specialized pet carrier and basket specifically for this purpose.

Agreed, that would be far too much liability for the company

Hi guys, I'm finishing a review of the RadRunner Plus...
Jeepers! Why has this taken so long? This is somewhat of a facetious question. But I am genuinely curious to know why, some three months after these bikes began shipping, there have been no formal reviews by any of the big ebike bloggers (and indeed even very few by amateur owners)? I've always been under the impression that the big ebike makers like RPB always set aside several early production bikes for this purpose. Has it been difficult to get your hands on one, or are you just back-logged with all the new models that have come out this year?
