Radmission: Throttle/Drag after applying brakes

Hi, I had recently purchased Radmission worked well for some time and then one day it started to malfunction.

Problem: After I power on, Throttle and PAS work well till I apply the brakes. Immediately following the brakes, the Throttle /PAS does not seem to be able to give enough power to make the wheel rotate. When I tested off-road (leaning the bike with the stand) I can see that using throttle after applying brake gives a clicking sound and after a drag, the wheel kicks off full speed so it feels like the wheel on road not have enough power to get off. Switch off and Switch on Throttle or PAS will work till I apply the brake. Also Front or Rear Brake same effect.

The only thing I can think of that happened was, I removed the rear wheel once to install fenders, but it worked for several days before giving me this problem. I have been with Rad power bikes support for weeks now and I have performed a. Remove all connectors, Remove Battery, press power button to make sure any static power is drained, and install everything twice so far with no luck.

hoping someone more knowledgeable can help me here.

Has Rad helped to fix this issue yet?

Hi Jimmy, Well Rad did not, they kept dragging for weeks with different troubleshooting many of which did not make sense. Either way, I figure out yesterday when I removed the Brake light connector the problem went away. then I found that the connector coming from the brake light was defective. So without a brake light, the issue does not exist. For now am riding with a temp red backlight till I figure out how to replace this part(do not feel like talking to RadPower support anymore )

Thanks for checking.

That should be easy to replace, I have seen people replace and even upgrade the lights on Rad bikes that are plug and play. How is the bike for you overall?
