After I worked on my Abound, the handlebars felt misaligned. I'd always found aligning ebike handlebars a hassle. This one was especially bad. From behind the handlebars, the wide battery box hid the wheel. Handlebars were adjusted by turning the stem, but loosening the pinch clamp allowed the fork to drop, leaving slop at the bearing.
As well as I could measure, the handlebar was only 2 degrees off. I figured I'd get used to it, but after dozens of rides, riding that way still felt unstable. I stayed up all night thinking about it, and it dawned on me. A couple of blue clamps to clamp both wheels between 2 x 4's, and a yellow bungee cord to hold the fork against the steering head. That made aligning easy!
