Question about American electric bike manufacturers.

Dear Folks,

I filed a provisional patent application for a bike accessory that would be applicable to any bike but especially wonderful for an electric bike. Could anyone tell me the name of the three largest American electric bike manufacturers? That would be appreciated. Best, DK

If so, then it's maybe:
1. Currie Tech
2. Pedego

If we're talking about actually assembled in America then it's:
1. Prodeco Tech

Those three would be a good place to start if you're looking for American e-bike manufacturers.

Currie Tech is owned by Accell Group, a European company (Netherlands)

I believe that Specialized is a US based company that makes ebikes.

In 2012 the European eBike market leader, Accell Group N.V., acquired Currie Tech Electric Bikes

It's not like being born of citizens of two countries. Currie Tech is wholly owned by Accell, a European company. I say this because of the question and the poster's need to be directed in the correct direction.

Prodeco is probably the most American sizeable ebike company, I think we can agree, and even they import their parts from China and assemble them here.

I don't think anyone can find a 100% American e-bike company.
