Query re: why BBS02 cuts out on hill, eventually resetting.

I've got about 1200 miles on my bike and 60 charges on my battery, and the last two times I rode it, it has cut out while climbing a hill that I've climbed 50+ times before. Since those events, I've been monitoring the battery bar closely and reduce the PAS level while climbing so that it doesn't happen again. I think that will take care of the issue when I'm riding, but I'd like to understand why it happens, just because I'm curious, and whether there is anything I can do to minimize the risk of it happening again beyond what I described.

Thanks in advance,

Kado!

I would assume you are drawing too much power from it and that is causing your battery to go below the shut-off wattage. I noticed I have had that problem when I am high gear climbing a hill as well. I just try to always drop between 1st and 3rd on a 7-speed derailleur when climbing hills depending on the grade of the hill. Nice to hear from some other BBS02 users out there.
