After changing out all the suspension bearings due to high mileage wear issues, the rocker bolt on the left side won't torque and spins freely.
The right side does torque but comes loose after a few rides. I keep the left side bolt in place, as a pin with Gorilla tape and is working for now, as long as the right side is torqued.
Discussions with local tech, he says it may be covered by warranty but, when a new frame could be supplied is the question. Also: I am closing in on the 2 year warranty date.
I asked about a heli coil but, tech says that this thread and bolt are a 'special' pitch (there is no heli coil for that particular pitch) due to the aluminum frame so, that isn't a solution. The next suggestion is a through bolt which, is possible.
Has anyone else got or had this problem?
