I need a manufacturer to show a member of the public spinning the pedals without the belt or motor attached and their reaction to the drag

In my neck of the woods, everybody wants DJI and their 1000W burst throttle.Pinarello dropped them like a hot rock. Lots of motor failures and Fazua was difficult to deal with for warranty issues.

It's not a throttle per-se, but you push a button and all of a sudden have a kilowatt on tap. You have to pedal to get it, but it's not an assist mode at that point, with a relationship to the rider input. Dji throttle? Not that I was aware of. They have 1000Wh of peak power in boost mode & 120nm torque. For comparison after the latest CX update it's now up to 750Wh boost & 100Nm torque.
It helps riding off the trail into a dropIt does have a hell of an overun as well, enough to save pedal strikes on long tech climbs
You can control it with the appThe Brose does the same and its caught me out a quite a lot, Im ready with the rear brake when near edges
