Pinion Motor.Gearbox.Unit (MGU)

High tariffs have been put on Taiwan Republic of China as well. 43%?
P.S. I don't think the batteries or electronics for Pinion MGU are made in Germany.
Well forgive me for being confused because what the tariffs actually are seem to be changing every day.

I thought Taiwan was back to ten percent.

Also, Taiwan is now mostly a high-tech manufacturer and not a mass producer of low-cost consumer goods where automated production is difficult and low-skill workers can mostly do the job.

My both premium e-bikes were manufactured in Taiwan. Also, components such as brakes etc etc.
Cannot fail noticing components such as batteries or electronics are mostly made in mainland China though.

Strictly for the tech nerds - Pinkbike run through each of the gates & gear box bikes at the UCI Downhill World Cup round at Bielsko-Biała in Poland this coming weekend, first race of the season! The incredible Hattie Harnden (World Enduro champ) with AON Racing is strong favourite in the women's downhill and if she wins, they get the £100K prize from Gates for the first Gearbox bike to win a UCI World Cup event.

Pinion E-Drive Systems, including their motors, gearboxes, and integrated units (MGU), are manufactured in Germany. Specifically, the components are made by a regional network of mid-sized automotive industry partners to Pinion's specifications. The MGU is designed and assembled in Germany to high industry standards.
