Picked up 2 Vado 4s today

My wife and I just picked up a pair of Turbo Vado 4s today, great bikes and my wife is really excited to go riding again. it was nice that Specialized is having a sale so that we could help support their dealers during the current lockdown. Looking forward to many enjoyable miles.

looking for recommendations for a mirror. Any help would be appreciated.

I own. 2020 Vado 5.0 which didn’t come with mirror. I had seen the mirror on 2019 Vado 6.0 and fell in love. I asked the LBS to order a Vado 6 mirror for me. The reason I like it is below the handlebar and does not stick out so no hitting cars or walls when passing narrow areas.
It does provide a clear rear view and very well made.

My wife and I have used helmet mounted mirrors for some years. It's easy to scan a wide field behind you with a small turn of the head.

These have the added advantage of going with us on our bike tours when we use rented bikes.



Our helmets have sun visors. The mirrors attach fine even with visors.

If not the covid situation, I would have sent mine to you I don't like it at all! When I had it mounted the way you are showing, I mostly could see my own body in the mirror...

Nice, that off white color looks good, better that it does on the Specialized website. Congrats on your new purchase. At the current discount I don't think there is a better bike for the money in the $2.5K range.

For straight-bar bikes, I've been using those MirCycle mirrors that everybody's sold for years (at least in the U.S.). REI has free shipping on everything while their stores are closed.
