Pedego not made in China

Listening to Pedego CEO Don DiCostanzo on fox news now. Says since last Sept, their bikes are made in Taiwan and Vietnam. Batteries are from Korea and motors are made in Japan. He said Europe has been putting tariffs on Chinese made bikes since last year so they got out.

DiCostanzo said cost wise, frame production in the USA might make sense and for the record, he said he's a Trump supporter.

Well if you make the frame in the US then obviously you assemble the parts made in other countries. This is the same guy who said a new paint booth that meets environmental regs to paint the frames cost $600 million, and it wasn't just the labor cost that makes it difficult to build in the US economically.

600 million ? Seems like with their prices and product , they could assemble in the U.S. and still do just fine. Plus, the attraction of a domestic
build would be very marketable.
