Paint quality

Does anyone else think the paint thickness on their Yammy is very brittle? I have a cross core and it seems like if a tool just touches the paint it leaves a mark.

Only issue I have with the paint is where the hydro brake line meets the head tube. Totally scratched up due to the constant rubbing. I now have a sticker there. But I also have the Urban Rush and it has matte paint so that’s probably a factor.

I read about that in Courts review and preemptively put a clear rhino guard type product there

Just adding to this thread that my Urban Rush also has brittle paint. Avoid having metal to metal contact like parking meter pole. I've added clear stick-on protectors to prone areas. The most brittle paint of any bike I've owned.

At a 2nd time my plastic helmet shell hit the bike and caused another chip.
