Hello everyone,
My neighbor would like to make a go-kart for his children, the children have restored an old go-kart themselves and we wanted to install a motor on it. He has an Electric motor 72V 3000W high speed hub motor with brushless controller and pedal accelerator, for electric scooter, electric bike, motor go-kart ATV bought on amazon and a 72volt lipo battery.
He tried to get it working, but no success, he came to ask me, but it is all plug and play, so we started measuring a bit and what raises the following questions.
When the battery is fully charged, 80+volt comes out, on the entire printed circuit board there is a voltage of 80+volt, including the outputs of the accessories. This is not allowed, is it? There is also voltage on the 3 phase wires.
If I measure a continuity test on the motor housing and the 3 phase wires, it beeps, is that allowed?
We ordered another controller which we tried but without success, the motor just won't turn.
Hopefully someone has an answer.
