Looks to be a direct competitor for the Specialized Creo Aluminum. One of the riders in our group rides has the carbon version of this bike and she's very happy with it.
I like that it comes with a dual chain rings, but having to take the battery out (after the bike sits dormant for 8 hours) to turn it on is a bit of a pain.

That's actually very hard to tell if it's an ebike or not..

I know it's an ebike because I can see the battery.

But if they painted the battery red, that would fool a lot of people.

Or, a potential buyer could just order the black. Personally, I really like the red (and I already have a black colored road bike).

I love this trend towards lighter ebikes ... and they aren't really restricted to the super fit only. City and trail bikes often don't need a lot of range or power, but their riders still need more help than a conventional bike provides. And you can carry it upstairs if needed.

I’m guessing within 5-10 years the difference between analog/ebike will be within a <10 lb difference due to battery/motor/materials advancements.

in 5 or 10 years... they will probably have better battery chemistry than Lithium Ion.

I sure hope so! And they need to make this new chemistry into a 100 mile battery!

The ebikes these days are indistinguishable to normal bicycle.

In the competitive cycling, there's a term called "mechanical doping", basically, using ebike to cheat on competition.

Computer enhanced shifting and very small motors will already fit inside the tubes, I.ve read. Hide the batteries there as well ? To win a race ?

Must be easy to travel with based on the removable Fazua battery motor combo.

Hasn't this model been out for sale already since January?

wait, what do you have to do with the battery?

Once the battery stays dormant for over 8 hours it turns itself off. To turn the battery back on the rider has to take the battery out and manually turn it on.
