Hi! Just bought a Wing Freedom X and have really been enjoying it. Makes it so much easier to bike over the bridges in NYC.

Congrats... how heavy is that bike... the bar design is interesting... does it have any other functionality?

Hey BigNerd. Thanks! The bike weighs 40 lbs - makes it slightly difficult to walk up and down two flights of narrow stairs. The bar also houses front and rear lights - borrowed from the Van Moof design. What kind of ebike do you have?

Yeah... did some Googling... Strom also has a similar design.

40lbs is actually pretty light as many ebikes are over 50lbs.

I still haven't bought one yet... still in analysis paralysis.

Yeah. So many choices and so many reviews. If it's any help, I test rode the Van Moof and really liked it. The auto gear changer was a bit jenky though and they couldn't get a bike to me until October so decided to go with Wing. Ordered the bike on a Sunday and it was ready for pick up on Wednesday. The shop in NYC is super responsive and I've stopped in to have a couple of things adjusted since making the purchase.

Congratulations! Is the X significantly better than the 2 with it's torque sensor and integrated display? How's the speed and range for you? Did you go with stock battery or upgrade it? I wish I could test drive one in my city.
