new Copperhead Evo AM 1 750 question: Auto ride mode vs eMTB mode

Just bought a f/s Bulls on sale for $2599. Never thought I could afford $4k+ to buy an electric mtn bike but for that price, I couldn't pass up the chance to own one. Local Seattle dealer ordered fenders and will install along with a Purion 200 display. It should be ready for me to pick up this weekend.

I've been searching for videos that explain how to use the Flow app and the Purion 200, and I think I have a pretty good idea of how it works but wasn't quite sure about the Auto and eMTB ride modes so thought to ask here.

First question, is the auto mode an option for Bulls bikes? I saw on videos for the Flow app, that 4 ride modes can be on the display at any given time, but some modes can be swapped out for others in the app, but I also read that the manufacturer decides which ride modes are available on their bikes.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Auto mode automatically adjusts the assist level when sensors select a slowdown such as from headwind or an incline, and work to help keep the bike at the same speed? eMTB mode as I understand it, adjusts the assist levels according to how much torque is being put down on the pedals and seems to be more for technical or trail riding. Does this mode work to keep you at the same speed/pedal cadence, or something different? The two modes seem to be similar, so I think I'm missing something as to what the difference is.

The bike manufacturer decides which assist modes Bosch should offer on each model. Most of the time, additional modes are added as part of the system update process, which must be done at a dealer with a Bosch account. I've seen up to ten assist modes available on a bike, but you can only have four active at a time. Once they are loaded onto the bike via the Bosch Diagnostic, you should be able to switch any or all of the four out using Flow.

Any mode that has a "+" after it is a dynamic mode. It starts at the base level of assist, but it can increase the assist dynamically by sensing torque and cadence. Where the assist peaks depends on the mode, but it is significantly higher than the base mode. Some of the dynamic modes are eMTB, Eco+, Tour+, and Sport+.

Thanks @stompandgo That's good to know. I'll ask the dealer if they can add the modes when I pick up the bike this weekend.
