Wow. If you can make a garbage bin look that good, you should not lack for customers if you want them ... think about the crap rv and boat cabinets that get replaced often.

@Buckdubay and @Browneye you will notice that although phase one "the little ramp" is done, not a single d@mn patio stone is in it's final resting place yet. This" 10 by 12 " patio is like a 3 hr cruise to Gilligan's Island...

I have a drainage ditch I have to dig that I have been putting off all spring and summer. Those back break jobs are always so easy to push to the back burner

They are probably well worth replacing the surround since you know how to do so. Friend of mine had them.
My latest project is ´smouldering´ resentment at being unable to ride or work outside. The Guv has asked everyone to stay
inside ast least thru the weekend, & with good cause. Seattle has for the moment the worst air quality in the world. Not quite
so bad here, 30 mi as the crow flies, but I am reduced to vented my anger posting here & losing miserably at online poker.
All this as I was just about to bust out for a road trip into Orygun. I´ve not been anywhere in more than 2 years. This trip
was scheduled for late April, but guess what. I can´t go to B.C. either. This literally stinks to high heaven!🤬

Man, the worst air quality in the world is not a record anyone needs. It's especially unfair that we Eastern folks are getting quite nice weather (for us anyway) right now.

I just do it for fun. We had a metal can the Goldendoodle could open at will. Tired of picking up after his garbage capers.

Besides biking, which has really been great for me physically and mentally... I too have been gardening. Our lot is pretty shady. I start indoors under grow lights, then move outside mostly into a self watering container system I designed and built... screened to keep out critters, lit to supplement the shade conditions. Working pretty well.

So far grow lights and hydrogardens have been a hit on this thread, along with @Browneye pond in post 21 or so and his patio watering rack. So a picture is very welcome.

We have been harvesting beans - pickled with peppers in jars - and lots of peppers.

We have a friend from Costa Rica whom is teaching us how to cook and eat chiles. Phenom.
Our covid buddies - a beer group that have weathered the covid pandemic together. 👍

Awesome. Looks like the plants are doing very well. The fruit ... Asian Pear?

About the only things left from the first outdoor planting are squash, beans, and tomatoes. Planted some winter carrots and broccoli, I think. Lots of salad stuff from the indoor hydroponic boxes.

Another thing I have been doing during Covid (besides biking) is painting. I recently sold this one called “Corona Sunrise”. It’s of the main intersection of our small town early in the lockdown, when traffic would otherwise be bumper to bumper with arriving tourists and day trippers.

Very well done, indeed. I certainly prefer the boats to the empty streets as far as subject matter , but then I really don't want to remember the "lockdowns". I can't visualize wanting a reminder hanging over the mantle or wherever.
