Need a folding e-bike for commuting from home through ferry into NYC

Hey all.

I currently own a 2011 Trek Valencia+ that I've modified a bit and have really enjoyed. Unfortunately, for me to take it to the city on the ferry it's rather large so I'm looking for a folding e-bike that would give me similar performance and range. Here are my requirements:
  • At least 18 MPH assisted
  • At least 30 mile range
  • Waterproof
  • Folding frame
  • Easy to carry
  • Folds in less than one minute
  • Preferably very few to no loose parts when folded
  • Supports a 200+ lb rider and cargo (no need to exceed 250 lbs)

I've been doing my research and from what I can tell I'm considering the GoCycle GX, but I figured why not ask the community before I jump on a decision.
Go with the Gocycle GX. It’s an amazing bike. I have one and really enjoy it on my 20 mi round trip commute (all in Manhattan). A few caveats, though:
1) depending on your level of assistance and how many hills you’ll climb, you might not get 30 miles. If you go really easy in Eco mode you might be able do it, but if you’re pushing 250 total lbs it’s going to be tough.
2) HOWEVER, the charger is really compact and easily fits in a side pocket of a backpack or the front pannier bag that Gocycle sells, so you can charge it at work if needed - I sometimes go hard on the way in and need to charge to make it home with assistance
3) the fold really is easy
4) it’s super light compared to most ebikes, but still on the heavy side at 36ish lbs
5) the mud guards are overpriced and it’s annoying, but it’s really worth it in the end and they’re very well integrated

Happy to answer questions if you have any. I work in Chelsea in case you want to take it for a spin sometime. But bfold in the East Village — where I bought mine — also has one you can take out. David from bfold is great, so if you decide to buy one, go there instead of buying online so he gets the business :)
