Ncm Moscow plus throttle

First I replaced the stock controller with a generic 35a peak 17ah continuous one. I got more torque but not much in speed. I'm guessing the hub has reached it's maximum RPM? at least for the 250w version. So I replaced the hub with a 1500w 60a controller 60v 17ah Reention battery and I'm literally flying about at 40+ mph

well thats it ordered with tax and shipping included came to a total of £123 which i think is well worth a gamble :) will keep you updated once it arrives, thank you again
Hi did you manage to get a controller ,if so where from. Did it make any difference, thanks.

Hi everyone,I’m new here. A few months ago I bought this e-bike: http://www.vg-bikes.fr/productdetail/vg-by-voltagreen-crz-srace#section-specs, 36v 250w,Das-kit L6, the same ebike like the Ncm moscow. I used the code 8088 to derestrict and now the maximum speed pedal assisted and throttle is 33.8km/h(on hot weather).I have read somewhere that the motor is actually a 500w one because otherwise I can't explain why it has 55Nm.It can be true? On the motor it is written: X15R 11AH1449. The controller that it has now is: CT5 - i5. Also I’ve changed the stock speed cassette which was a 7speed 14-28T with a new one 11-34T from aliexpress.

I have some questions: 1)The battery is a Panasonic 468W 36v 13Ah. If I buy a new battery with higher voltage and more Ah, for example 48v 20Ah, i have to change also the controller which I have it(CT5-i5)?

2)If I change the controller with a new one with more Amps I have to change the display too? The display is L6 C300S(Das-kit L6).

For the moment I’ll keep the stock battery and I would like to buy another controller like that I have it(to have a backup just in case it breaks),and I found much more cheaper on aliexpress.Could someone tell me please what controller exactly have to buy from there?Maybe someone can give me a link from aliexpress with the right controller that I have to buy it.

3) In the near future I’m thinking to buy a new battery with 48v 20Ah and I need someone to give me a link with the ideal controller for that battery.

Best regards,

Your controller seems to be standard ncm Moscow controller , capable of delivering up to about 720w to the motor . You don’t need to change it . The x15r motor can deliver at least 750 W “peak” power ( the 250w / 500 W sticker is to “comply” with local laws )
I think the only upgrade you would benefit from would be a 48v battery giving you more distance and possibly more power / speed . The upper speed limit of the motor/controller system running at 48v ( if the display has no speed limits built in ) seems to be about 45km/h .

Hi, I have the Moscow 27.5. I upgraded the battery to a 48v 20ah. This now gives me a lot more range and works fine with the standard Moscow controller and rear hub. I use the C7 Off Road Kit display.

Hi,thnx. And what is the maximum speed reached with your new battery? With my 36v 13Ah battery in level 3 power mode, I can ride 60km using also the acceleration from time to time. When you wait at the traffic light it's great to start with the acceleration. :D

Hi, bikes sold in the UK are limited to 15.5 mph and 250w motor. The Off Road Kit gets you to about 20 mph. The larger 20ah battery gives you more range. To get more speed you need a higher wattage motor and higher amp controller.

My bike is from France and was also limited to 25km/h, but i used the code 8088 to derestrict to 33.8km/h maximum speed. If you read the comment from the user Moscow29 you can see that i have a powerful motor. :D

What display are you using as the de-restrict does not work on UK versions.

I'm bothering you with another question if it's possible,i found this comment in the forum when someone said that the X15R has 80Nm, and if that's real i'm very happy!!You've made my day. :D I bought my bike for 1100€ from someone, it was new with only 40km. I don't know if I understood correctly but I think I need a 48v battery for the motor to output 80Nm, is that true?

"Okay so looks like there are several variants to Das Kit motor...

The Amego Infinite / Amego Elevate for example, uses Das-Kit X15R (80Nm of torque) that is not listed on Das-Kit website.

And there is another motor called Das-Kit X15 (55Nm of torque)"

Did you try to order directly from Amego and Magnum?
If manufactures aren't willing to ship to UK, maybe the retailers might?

Epic Cycles in Canada has one in stock.
$150 Canadian.

Voltaire Cycles in the US has one too.
$119 US

So this I6 controller from magnum is the way to increase the torque (not speed) as it is 18Amps, right?

Morning everyone and a nice weekend! :) I found some controllers on aliexpress which are much more cheaper than the original. I would like to buy one of the 20amp for my bike but i don't know exactly which will work with the display L6 and also the cables, and the dimensions of the original controller CT5-I5 are:L 4,25inch(10.8cm), l 2inch(5,1cm), h1,14inch(2,9cm). I didn't remove it from the bike and that's why I ask if anyone can look on aliexpress and can tell me exactly which 20amp controller i can buy.I will apreciate that. I'll put 2 links and 2 pictures. :) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000388912304.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.4e663c00liRt7D&mp=1
