wow, i LOVE this bike
These fat bikes are really cool

It seems really well put together, like the display , battery case seems nice and well made etc

This one does have the samsung battery, bafang motor and the holes for fenders/rack...

Wires are not routed in the tube though

The guy thought he bought it in feb, dont even care if it is the 2015, i am super happy with it and think it was a great buy for 1000
It has 13 miles on it
Actually 15-16 since i just spend some time riding it at the beach lol

I am not sure where the tires are supposed to be psi wise but they were really full so i took them down to 18psi...
Maybe it would have done better in the deep sand with the 28psi that was in them??

Anyway it bogged down some trying to drag my heavy person through the deep sand, but i could hardly walk in it...
Riding in beach sand will be a rare thing for this bike so no big deal, did fine on the more packed stuff

Rode around the parking lots, camping area etc for an hour or so and had a blast, it is so easy to pedal i hardly used power at all

If there is a way to fix that 80% power jump on pas 2 i am all ears, it is the only thing i dont like about the bike
Nuts how fast pas2 is, what is up with that?
Cannot imgaine what the other pas levels are like or how you could use them for anything but a big hill
I was riding around alot of slow cars in traffic and used pas0 and throttle most of the time, but it rolls so easy i hardly touched the throttle

Stand over height is pushing it for me at 5ft 6 in but it was doable and i had no problems handling the bike

I like this thing so much may have to get another

Smooth to ride and stable , this may be better for me than a full suspension mtn bike

Havent decided if it is more comfortable than my cheap FS mtn bike or not, but at this point would say it is equal and i really like how squishy that chinese mtn bike rides...

I'm 5'7 and was wondering about the frame size. We're you riding with zero power at all ? Wondering about the drag if you got stuck miles from home and had to pedal all by yourself. Glad you are happy with your purchase !!!

Nice haul, 13 miles is really light usage.

Btw, the 2016 have a slightly lower top tube for better standover height. I'm also 5'6" and I still have plenty of seat post left for adjustment. Here's a pic of how much:2016-07-01 17.41.22.jpg

wow, that is great to know about the lower top tube
standover height is one of those things i could not have known about without seeing it in person - if i knew how much i would love it , that standover was so close for me being a 5ft 6 in woman and that the new one was lower i might have gotten a new one....
oh well
sexton tom that might be something to think about, but guessing you are considering a new one

it is weird but i felt ok with it, and did ok stopping, stepping off the bike etc and even though i basically have zero clearance and am right on the top tube it did not seem to be an issue...
that being said i would definitely get the new one with the lower bar, in that dudes pic it looks a lot lower
i do plan to get some kind of pad for the top tube just to be safe, but so far they are not what i was expecting, some are made from bicycle intertubes, kind of thought they would be some kind of padded neoprene...

planing to ride some in northern az thur and fri, will get some more time in on it and will report back on how it does etc
and a friend of mine that is 5ft 4in is going with me, she will definitely try it out and i will let you know how she does/what she thinks

on the drag- i actually rode 90% of the time unpowered yesterday
now this was in the flats, mostly pavement
but i kept forgetting that the power was off until i looked down and noticed..
that really surprised me, it seemed to roll very easy

where i was there were tons of people and cars, lots of stopping and turning so i used throttle the whole time for power, to me throttle is way more controlled than pas in situations like that
was playing with the pas levels 1 and 2, forgot it was in 2 and was trying to get around traffic and made a turn, it kicked in and i nearly hit a car
i went to zero for the rest of the ride and used throttle when needed
like speeding up so i wasnt slowing the cars down, a few slight hills for 2-3 seconds- so i did feel the weight going up those
but since i was crawling around traffic at the time was probably rolling 5-6 mph so no forward momentum either

did not budge the battery bars in an hour of riding like this

level 2 pas has got to be fixed somehow, CA, reprogram from radrover, something- dont know if the 2016 has this resolved but from reading on here am thinking not...

this week will be on open roads and can see what the other levels do , but just cannot get over the massive difference in power from level 1-2, i know others have commented on this too

here is my take , i think this bike is a great buy at 1500 plus the 200 for shipping
it seems put together nice and to me it has just what i need display wise, levels of pas and throttle with override- which i love

time will tell more on using the pas vs the easy motion- i know they are different types

and time will tell on long term quality, but so far i am way impressed

i am a light rider, want to put in 15-25 miles workout 2 times a week on the bike trail, slow roads or maybe some dirt roads and i want a smooth/squishy bike to ride, this definitely fits that bill

am pretty easy on my bikes, they all live inside the house, etc
pretty sure this one has the cheap older fork, for me it will probably work fine for a good while before i upgrade, but someone who rides harder off road it would probably be a problem much earlier
not sure how much other parts of the bike will be the same, only time will tell

but for anyone sitting on the fence i would not hesitate, think they are really great bikes for the price

Thank you Vincent !! Great feed back. I sold my Ezip Trailz this spring to move onward and upwards ... It had both pas and throttle. I agree 100% on the pas in traffic... I told myself my next ebike will definitely have both !!!!!

Lol you don't want to get me started on the lack of throttle on a lot of these bikes

Ravi is sick to death of hearing me bitch about it

My first bike was a cheap Chinese bike FS mtn bike with one level of pas and throttle with override, it never occurred to me when I wanted to upgrade to a 3000 or $4000 bike it was going to be a problem finding a full suspension mountain bike with those same options only better

I use the throttle for different situations than PAS, actually think I use electric power less using only throttle than using the PAS systems

This fall when I can ride consistently am going to take one or two of the bikes and run the battery down to a certain percentage, two rides on throttle only and two rides on pas and see what my battery usage is on each

am very sick of the throttle is useless etc. conversation
Pas would have gotten me killed riding around that crazy busy area yesterday
Especially pas level 2
