Mahle X20 firmware update

Are they a wee bit secretive at Mahle?

They have quietly posted firmware updates for the X20 system and for the X20 charger on their website. They are BIN files which my iMac could not make any sense of but when I downloaded them onto my iPad the zipped files were expanded instantly. So I uploaded the files to my server then down to my iMac then connected the X20 charger then downloaded the files on to my bike.

What a faff.

However, reading on here about the issues getting firmware updated on their X35 system, which entails returning the bike to the dealer, makes me feel as if its doddle.

The app seems to behave itself much better now but I am not aware of any sudden improvements or changes in the X20.

ok I have been riding an orbea gain m20 for about 28 months 12500 miles with the app no issues all good
just got Scott addict 20 x20 motor
2nd ride
so here my issues with the app
Motor maps don’t work
No battery % on home or ride page or engineering page
so remaing battery for ride % all over the place which it would be as it uses battery voltage to calculate
Battery usage KW Zero after ride
but external extra battery KW has a used figure so appears it is mixing up main battery with external extra battery even if you don’t have one
I don’t have one
Error 32 comms issue
Pulsa one works perfectly and includes correct battery % except distance calculation for battery same as app all over the place
So it appears to be a firmware issue to me
MAHLE please get this sorted releasing a new system with this many issues should not happen
