Am researching ebikes for commuting 11 miles (one way) with mild elevation changes.
- I will probably also do a bit of trail riding.
- The commute route is mostly straight , but also goes through neighborhoods and some traffic.
- And there is one short 1/4 mike gravel section,
However, the route has some rough spots.. enough that at 20 mph at night the bumps/holes can be jarring. I’m thinking suspension will be good - I currently ride a full suspension non-E mtb on the road and it helps.
I’m kinda gravitating towards the Luna Apex. Yeah it’s a lot of $$ ... but it is unique.
Anyone have any comments on it for road usage?
In general, How does a fat tire bike handle navigating car traffic? (I would opt for the smooth tires.)
Is it a practical / acceptable commuter?
Any Luna Apex owners in the sf bay area such that I could check it out?
