Looking for recommendation for cheap ebike. Probably asking the impossible.

I´m leery of anything under $1000, but I suppose 350w would be OK on pricier mid-drives.
I wanted a cheap, powerful mtn. bike that climbs well, & bought an NCM moscow. Not disappointed,
but you need to pay close attention to the manual of this German bike & keep it tuned,
Not so much with the moscow+ for $400 more. The fat version is called the aspen.The NCM milano
is cheaper but good for the price. The moscow was $1059 but may have gone up. If you are heavy,
you´d probably want to put on tires with beefier sidewalls & higher psi. Check the EBR review. At
3700 mi. my only real issue was tires. THat solved, the performance has been super.

cool bike but i would not call it german, the motor and frame are 100% Chinese! i have seen that frame a million times and the Motor is a Daskit which is a Chinese motor.

Uh yeah, German Co. likely owned by Russian oligarch, Chinese frame, Japanese components probably
made in Viet Nam or Thailand, assembled in Germany.:rolleyes:
