I have not, however, I have not seen too much negative feedback. However, you may have to do more assembly than you would from other vendors. The norm seems to be handlebars, front wheel and pedals. That's it, from my own experience.Anyone ever order from Bikes Direct?

Same assembly with Bikes Direct... just bars, wheel, and pedals.
My experience has been excellent and I'm just waiting for them to restock the Mulekick.
Okay that's good news. My statement was based on a couple of members here purchasing the "Motobecane HAL Eboost e8000 midDrive" that arrived with many more parts disassembled. Perhaps this only applies to various models. The Mulekick is a great choice judging by the listing @$1999US on BD.Same assembly with Bikes Direct... just bars, wheel, and pedals.

The Mulekick is a great choice judging by the listing @$1999US on BD. I can understand why it is sold out! Use the re-stock update (if it works).
We will all be waiting impatiently for your review after purchase. Perhaps you may have to wait awhile at this juncture. The Mulekick is a great value... half the price of anything else available under 35 lbs and 28 mph.
If you are really desperate, buy this and change out the bars and brake levers if needed. Then again, it may become diminishing returns when all is said and done. Not a big fan of drop bars IMO.I agree it's a great deal and I'm thinking about ordering one... there's a Drop Bar 61cm frame in stock, a bit large but it might fit.

it uses human e motors (G)Still "weighting" for that light and affordable ebike.
well spend 15,000 and iI am sure it will beOff topic and probably already mentioned in the thread, so I apologize... but the poll at the beginning for A) should be 1,500 not 15000. At least I think so .
But a bike under 35 pounds would be amazing!
Are you still liking your Roadster? Any issues for far? I just ordered the Gravel version...I wish there were other low-priced options, but my Ride1UP Roadster v2 a great entry into the lightweight e-bike world. Only 33 lbs, and under $1100. Nothing else like it, at that price. Sure, it only has a single speed, but on the flats and downhill you can often turn the motor off (or PAS 1) and ride it like a non-electric bike. Price no object, I'd like a Specialized Turbo Creo SL, 27 lbs and $14000. So maybe think of the Ride1UP Roadster v2 a bargain Creo
