Funny, Those that don't have guns don't understand them either.

Evil exists.. Small cities or large, Evil still exist. Anything can be used to be made lethal. Why is it a knife in Europe? Well they are not supposed to have guns so what's the next best thing? Next it will be hammers..

I own Several Guns... More than enough to pass 10 to each of my 2 kids and 4 grand kids... Might be more before I die... They all know the safety that comes with it and they are respectful of life.. We eat what we shoot and respect is given in all manners of operation..

I carry one everyday and everywhere I go unless they have metal detectors then I leave it.. We (Family) all understand safety, respect and when to use a weapon...

You need more not less and more understanding and education. Safe Zones are not safe they are just soft targets. Ever notice what happens when a conceal carry is around when a shooter goes active? Hes not around very long.

Gun are good and can be a good tool against Evil... Now can they be used by bad people? Yes and so can a knife. Ban knives?

My great grandfather was a shipwright from Liverpool so I also have family ties to the UK.
Like J.R., I also live in a rural community with no local police department. I've travelled extensively all over the US and have never personally witnessed any gun violence. Unless you were to visit high crime areas in some of our larger cities, it is likely you wouldn't either.

Similar to your kind offer to harrys, I'd be glad to recommend places in the US to visit, should you decide to skip over the pond.
