Kindernay VII IGH and HYSEQ Onesie shifter

I don't know if it's my imagination or that my Kindernay hub is getting progressively noisier.
Here's a video-does the hub sound noisy, or normal?
The hub has less than a 1000 miles on it and the oil was recently changed. No oil leak.
This is my second hub. The first one was replaced under warranty (leaking).

Mine get noisier as soon as most of oil leaks, which happens withing few weeks after each refill. How long ago did you refill yours? Do you have any leaks from hub?

It's been at least six months since my last drain/re-full, but I didn't think the fluid was low because I've only ridden the bike a handful of times since the re-fill and I haven't noticed any leaking. After the first hub leaking problem I check after every ride.
Something to think about, though, so I'll drain the hub again and do a re-fill. It will be interesting to see how much fluid drains out.

The hub still shifts fine, it's just noisy.

It does sound noisier than mine or maybe this is just microphone pics the sound this way.

Mine is leaking.

I think that eventually every Kindernay hub will leak and that's probably the reason they went out of business-they could solve the leaking problem.

I think my Kindernay VII sounds as loud as yours when it is freewheeling in the air and it feels quite when I ride it.

It was making a hell of a racket on the next to last couple of rides-enough that other riders in my riding group commented on the noise.
Interestingly, on the next ride, after washing the bike, the diff didn't make nowhere near as much noise.
No idea why.

My Kindernay VII is slowly dying (after about 6.6k miles) - seals are not holding oil anymore, everything I am putting it is on the floor withing 2-3 weeks. However it still works, so I plan to use it sill it stops completely. However shifting become more annoying issue: I hardly can shift to 6th gear now (1-4 is fine, 4-5 is acceptable, 5-6 almost impossible, 6-7 if fine if you can get 6th first). I will re-bleed the shifter to see if it help, but I am suspecting it might be some wear - same shifter I used with 1st hub, which broke, so it has around 8.4k miles on it. Does anyone who had Kindernay and not using it anymore, willing to sell me the shifter unit (the one attaching to the hub) - I am willing to pay reasonable price and cover the shipping. Please let me know! Thanks!

I'm also having issues with my part that attaches to the hub. The bike was shifting fine, but over time it would no longer shift to 5 & 6 gears.
I tried bleeding the lines, but ended up with zero gears. I did bleed the lines a year or so ago and was able get all the gears working. Unfortunately, this time it was a no-go.
I took the bike into my local bike shop and had the tech try his luck at bleeding the lines. No luck with him either.
I then tried contacting a guy in Europe who supposedly has parts for the kindernay hubs. I was thinking that the seals in the aluminum part that connects to the hub gear were starting to leak and hI hoped that I could just purchase that end connector. Unfortunately, after a couple of back-and-forth emails he stopped responding to my emails.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and have my local shop replace the kindernay kit with a regular derailleur running gear. I'll probably sell the hub itself, which shifts fine, online.
You can try contacting the guy for parts. You may have better luck than I did. mail@trailcamp

Thanks. This is sad, but at least explains that those symptoms I see are common. I bought some parts from Kindernay when they were still alive for backup, but never bough this one - big mistake :(
Anyway, I will try full service for the shifter tomorrow - if it works, I will have time till spring (hopefully), otherwise I will need to migrate to other hub earlier than I wanted. I am not going to derailleur in any case - I am belt guy and never will use chain again. Aiming for 3x3 hub, which I hope will outlive my current ebike and move to the next one when time comes...
