Hello everybody, thank you for the add.

After changing bearings to a Bosch Cx Performance motor, once I reassemble it, I got the error 510. Bosch manual says nothing useful about it and I did not find any hint what was the origin of that failure.

After some research in german forums I found the cause of the problem and solve it. I want to share the solution here because is a frequent error and there is little or none information regarding it.

The problem arises when the torque put in the nut shown in the picture is not the adequate one. I do not know the torque, but after playing a while tightening and loosing the nut the error was gone.

Hope this is helpful

Rafael

Maaaan, i can't believe this situation ! 3 times i record this 510 error on my ebike. They appear suddenly from nowhere when i was pedaling very slow. Today i stop in a crossroad at low speed and when i want to go with my ebike the 510 error appear again. This time it stays on my purion display. I turn off the display and turn on many times...no chance. At home i loose the crank arms and instal them again....no result. I put a fridge magnet in the motor zone and on the cables...no result. I read somewhere about 510 error causing by droper post cable friction . It's weird....do you know something about this ? i have 130km till next city where exist bike shops and i don't know if it will manage ok this situation. The motor is not completely dead, just refuse to assist. I have volspeed v3 for about 4000 km, 43km/h speed limit, riding just in Tour mode and the error don't appear when i ride fast. The bike shop will see the instalation of the volspeed v3 cip in the diagnose page even if i will uninstall the cip ? I will loose my 2 years motor waranty ?
Please help, maybe you have a real solution for my problem because i realy need my ebike for commuting and i have not time til spring to go in a bike shop so far from my town. Thank you very much !
