Just for fun...

A: Since you are a polite, and generous old man, I will answer your question: Yes. It was made by people who speak the same dialect of Mandarin as the people who made your bike, and eat the same cuisine, and have the same beliefs for example, regarding their ancestors. This one is called a Specialized Fat Boy.

@Chargeride: a late night news for you!

The Central Investigation Bureau of Police (Poland) together with the Customs Service have just confiscated 57,000 illegal Chinese e-scooters worth 156 million PLN (some 29 million British Pounds). A big deal of those were the Kukirin, the brand ridden by the youth terrorizing our cities :)

Cannot wait until the Chinese crap e-bikes would be confiscated as well!

You can use Google Translate :)

Are they auctioning them off..?
Asking for a friend

Today, our WA group was visited by a woman who had crashed on a "Chinese crap" (she literally wrote that!), which slightly damaged her neck. She asked if a specific Kellys e-bike could help her. I had a private audio call with her. She would do a demo ride on an inexpensive gravel bike to determine the level of her fitness after the rehab. If she finds out she cannot ride it reasonably fast, she would then do a demo ride on this beautiful Kellys:

Are we asuming a more expensive bike will reduce her crashes
I'm sure the better bike will be safer for her. She could ride a rental Kellys e-MTB in our mountains, technical singletracks, and was delighted! Now, she could find the "SUV" model at a Warsaw LBS and probably will buy it. The 2026 discounted model is below the magical barrier of PLN 10k (GBP 1900), and she can afford it. It has the latest 100 Nm model of Panasonic GXM motor, and a 725 Wh battery. Made in Slovakia, not China. A good choice!

A guy has a bike with almost all proprietary parts. They cannot be replaced. The in frame battery is an odd shape. He damaged the wires entering the motor and there is no slack to solder. I told him to get the smallest cable lock he can and to put it at the corner.
