Just for fun...

Sun screen is really good when cycling just make sure you reach for the correct one.

''My God! What happened to you?'' the bartender asked Kelly as he hobbled in on a crutch, one arm in a cast; black eye, and covered in bruises.
''I got in a bit of a tiff with Riley" He said.
''Riley? But he's just a wee fellow and you are such a strappin' young lad!,'' the barkeep said, surprised. ''To do that kind of damage, he must have had something in his hand.''
''That he did,'' Kelly said. ''A shovel it was, and he knew how to use it.''
''Dear Lord. And what about you? Did you have something in your hand?''
''Aye, that I did -- Mrs. Riley's left boob.'' Kelly said. ''And a beautiful thing it was, but it's not much good in a fight!''

Mom always said, don't take a boob to a shovel fight.

What do cars look like in Nor. Cal. without road salt? The girl I liked when I was five, Jeanie, rode in the backseat of one of these VWs. A girl I liked as a freshman rode in a Benz like this. That is when baige was a thing.

I talked to the owner of that Mercedes today. It is a 1972 and lived in Napa for many years, which is good because Napa is best known for its auto parts. Then it moved to the bucolic town of Sonoma. He said that he was just up on the 101 freeway and was doing 80 mph. That is 129 kph. The car is perfect and is 54-years-old. Those analog hand window rollers are still smooth as silk. That is one solid car. Several years ago a new Toyota SUV tried to kill me. And in automatic reaction I swung my hand at it and did $1200 in damages. It was built like a dollar store lasagna tray. Not his car. The turkey tray car fled away.

There are many classic cars around here, most are muscle cars from the '60's and '70's. The Leno law just passed that classic cars if driven less than 1,000 miles per year, do not need to meet California's high smog standards. Adobe Road wineries' tasting rooms just opened and they feature classic cars. I wish they instead focused on local bike culture.
