I just did a 10-mile sunset Autumn colors, bright vineyards, dramatic dark mountains, ride with a friend. She is going to take one of these sub machine rolled foam weapons and toss it in surprise on the chest of her teen when he comes home from school. At lunch the next day he will toss it at a friend and it will post on tic-toc.

a good autumn is a trip within its self,our leaves were very disappointing this year,I guess the dryness messed things up mostly on the ground now,the last brilliant autumn I remember around here was the year 2000,a guy and his wife who were from New England said we were actually ahead of New England that year and I cant really put my finger on why we head such early brilliant color that year,this year was late and disappointing.

The white oaks are brilliant with reds and golds. I will break out my camera today. What is weird is that most of the leafs stay in color and on the trees until April. My riding buddy planted 18 trees last weekend. Next week her organization is planting 50. https://www.releafpetaluma.org/ They give away native trees. Consult and then plant them for free in people's yards. Don't eat a packing foam sandwich!

I did not have appointments until this afternoon so I took a big ride. I said Hi to some folks stuck in a rest home, saw friends in park that invited me to join a Nepalese home cooking party, fixed a guy's bike, and made some new friends. Then I ate an authentic NYC pizza with 'chovies and fresh basil. It will pour tomorrow so it was fun to get out today. You can tell when a vineyard with red grapes goes unpicked. The leaves turn bright read.
