Just for fun...

I have a 'bike' in the shop that has duel 1000 watt motors. It needed bleeds. I could not ride it, barley, cautiously, in the very lowest setting. It is a marketing POS, based on specs that are over the top for real riding. He said he has a moutain bike on the phone. This would not be on any mountain. It is a fat, unlawful throttle motorcycle that would crash on any trail. I still did the bleeds. He needs to stop.
a POS like that

If he survives one day he may be enlightened, didn't take me long to realize I do not have the reflexes for Mtn biking!

they called that a repair,?if that chimney is in service I would recommend a liner.
its family politics, she likes him, but hes a scammer.
I tied to intervene but became the villian.
I really have to keep an eye on him, Ive tracked down where he lives and everyone I can who he has had off.
I keep blocking his number and deleting him from her phone.
Next step is my old club owner mate.

Another slot into the grey area, this is being marketed as 15.5 mph road legal if you remove the throttle, which is technically untrue unless the mapping is set at 3.8 mph walk mode at all times, then it would be legal connected.

Anyone can just say 250w nominal, the new Bosch and Dji do exactly that.

Its just a sticker.

The guy thinks it is a mountain bike because it has fat tires and a suspension. I admit I was wrong. It is 4,000 Watts! That is why it was so scary to ride with the PAS lag, surge, and lurch in power level 1.

Its clear that high powered ebikes can now be very cheap and mostly reliable, if unrefined and heavy.

The only reason they are not on the sharp end of the governments boot is because getting people out of cars is high on the wish list, and they are being given a mostly freeride so far, plus its very time and manpower consuming to check them.

Surely a crackdown is building up, they can reel in the importers, but souping these things up is becoming average diy'er stuff.

How on Earth are they allowed to sell Surrons, practically none of them are ridden legally anywhere.

They are sold as private land, off-road only. If you have a huge Western ranch you can use it to quickly cover ground to quietly visit a couple of your wives each night. Then make the rounds to visit your kids in the morning. In that way they are practical.

A "Stormin Mormon"?
Yes, exactly. If you had a gas powered dirt bike as you approached a wife's house on your huge ranch at night, all the kid's would wake up and say, Daddy! Spoiling the romantic mood. That is what these 'bikes' are for and the target market. There is a place for them, just not every place, like wheelies in suburbia or down the Boulevard by a kid in flipflops, helmetless. Its for when three out of four wife's are showing on the ranch.

Yeah, I guess in certain states with massive amounts of land, but in Europe they are a bit silly.
I wanted to move to Utah or Colorado when I was younger because the lifestyle and land mass was more of my liking, but now Im older I appreciate England, its like having a model train set.

Im not sure who thinks thats a good idea, I can barely cope with one wife.
I think domination and submission is at play there.
Its all very evolutionary correct for apes, but Id rather have no wives than three.
