Hi. I'm female. 5"5 but with proportionally long legs. 115lbs. Avg cycling length 30km lately (it was an average of 50km pre kids). I like the look of a road bike because of the people I usually ride with and what I'm used to (on a Specialized road bike currently). I'm looking at the Cannondale supersix evo neo 3. It's a Male frame. Smallest size. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. I'm looking for reliability, light weight, low noise, quality (battery etc.), road bike look. Budget- less than$5000.00 Canadian
Is this bike the right one for my build and wish list?

Seems pretty nice to me. The drawback...at least for me...is its class 1 status. I would not be happy with a 20 mph cutoff. But if you primarily want the motor for helping on hills, then the low weight and added assistant may be all you want. Size of course may be the biggest issue; you would just have to try one.
An alternative is one of the Orbea Gain bikes; they use the same Ebikemotion drive system. Its offered in a fractionally smaller size with a shorter top tube which may be beneficial for you. But Orbea is not as widely distributed, so that could be a drawback.

Cannondale supersix evo neo 3 is nice but I’m not in love with the Ebikemotion system. I had it in my previous Orbea. It’s an advanced cadence and speed sensor system but it will never have the immediate and predictable power of a torque sensor system. Since you already have a Specialized you like, why not take a look at the Creo?

As fantastic Creo is, it is well above the OP's budget at CAD6400 (the aluminium version). Same with Trek Domane+ ALR (CAD6000).
The only mid-drive motor road e-bike available for CAD5000 is Giant Road E+ 1 Pro.

Good catch. Just saw the “Canadian” for @SkdB’s price point. The Creo starts at $5000 US.
There’s the iGo Camillien that comes in way under that price point. I’d personally change out the brakes and drive train at some point.

Great info all around. I've had a bunch of ebikes that I've bought and sold over the summer. Here's my take:
I had the trek domane+ great ride. Just sold it, battery doesn't last as long as it claims. Feels heavy when the battery is not powering the bike. I also had a Cannondale synapse Neo, it's class 1 but way to heavy for the power. I had both the specialized and the orbea gain. Specialized was a nice ride but sounded like it whined a bit too loud. Not worth the $6800 price tag. I loved my gain, I sold it because I thought the grass was greener in the other side. It's strong enough but doesn't give the power that you need if you rely solely on the hills. I'm considering buying the Cannondale supersix Evo Neo. I'm not sure if it's built better than the orbea or not but I believe it is. Hope my suggestions helped
