Intermittent problem

Most factory hydoro levers have an 8mm adjustment screw at the electrical signal input.

I have that same adjustment screw on the Tektro brakes on my first ebike,..

When I installed my KT controller and display, I needed to connect it's standard, red 2 pin Higo/Julet connector to this oddball 2-pin Julet connector that I couldn't find Anywhere.

I didn't want to cut the connector off of my old controller, and wreck the old controller.

And I didn't want to cut the connector off at the brake switch, because that would only leave me about 3 inches of wire to work with, then I'd end up needing a new brake switch that I was sure I'd never be able to find, so I spent about a dozen hours fartin around using solid Bell Telephone wire to plug into the connector then into my new controller.

It's been working great for over 3½ years now

You can see the red or yellow of the connector.

Higo and Julet plugs are almost identical, and can be plugged into each other, but the color shows through a bit.

Then they came out with Gen 2 Julet connectors that are smaller and don't fit anything else.
