Not sure why they always seem to grossly exaggerate the range. This bike claims 50-75 miles with an 11 ah battery.

Hey, different strokes for different folks Years ago, I built a semi-recumbent bicycle out of a couple of regular bike frames and enjoyed it a lot. In a lot of ways the seating position is much more comfortable and also safer than a typical bike. It is not as efficient for climbing, but then a good electric assist can take care of that. Personally, I would love to have a recumbent again....but the choices for electric recumbents are few and far between. I may someday pick up a used one and put my incoming ShareRoller on it.

that's closer to a crank forward than a recumbent, but still nice. There are lots of E recumbents out here!
