^love it Stefan
And a railroad bridge 4 miles inside Russia was sabotaged. The military shipped their tanks over this bridge. Who did it? Ukraine special forces or Russian dissidents. I understand that Belarus has an underground which has assisted Ukraine with intelligence And other measures. Now with Finland openly embracing NATO (Swedish public opinion too) Putin has turned his worst fears Into reality.

In a statement Wednesday Russia threatened to strike Ukrainian military targets .
😂 Apparently attacking military targets is a new concept for Russians then?

Some on the news talk about European leaders worrying about annoying Putain or giving the Russians pretext for retaliation, fretting about, for instance, the sabotage of railroads in Belarus: "Oh, it could be a false flag by the Russians as an excuse to bomb more..." Putain requires no pretext, no false flag, no rationale for escalation. It makes no nevermind to him. (A very fine Americanism for you, Stefan! 😉) He just invaded another country for no reason. Like the banditos in Treasure in the Sierra Madre:

With the possible (ok, likely) attack on the Moskva I have an idea for another cartoon. Small Ukrainian fishing boats towing burnt out Russian navy vessels.

Hard to know. Toxic masculinity is all over the place. I read a long article in today's Guardian which tells a tale of a much more chaotic and ad hoc situation for the international volunteer fighters: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...ighting-in-ukraine?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other

If the guy the French reporter talked to was officially there, then that is a different kettle of fish than if he were merely acting on his own. If he was (unofficially) official, then we have to think that perhaps this is how the US Govt is helping to fight this war.

They cant let the Gravy Train get interrupted so they will do everything they can to keep Ukraine in tact

....
Maybe all isnt what it seems? Maybe part?
It's war, it's never as it seems.

I'd be shocked ("shocked I tell you" with respect to Casablanca :) ) if there weren't plenty of American and German "advisors" on the ground in Ukraine. I'd also be shocked if there weren't a variety of "strings attached" to the ongoing military support ... but the Ukrainians are no fools and they know their adversary really really well. To suggest the war is really "... run by Americans ... " is IMHO a bit extreme.

Im not saying just posting something interesting I found. I wont give my opinion on it.. I read very little about Ukraine before this besides the Corruption and my opinion wont make any difference on the outcome Nor will it agree with most on here.

Many of my overseas friends snicker at USA fears of nuclear weapons against civilians. Only one country has ever done so.

I believe it made its point and was a pivotal moment in the war. It had its affect. It was a turning point and So on.. Wars are not pretty.

Many of your overseas friends may have changed their views
That doesn't fix their view of the USA and our use of nukes on a civilian population. I'm not interested in debating the issue, just stating a fact. I've heard the same views from here to Cape Town ZA.

Believe it or not.. Those big bombs have kept some countries from invading and others from being invaded..

The Ukrainian fishermen didn't even get a chance at it ... BBC is reporting that Moskva has sunk while it was being towed. That cheering you hear will likely go on well into the early morning.

edit: Interestingly it was Russian state media who first reported the sinking.
