Whoa. I hit the de-ignore button and it was like opening a portal to another dimension.

"De-personing"

That's not a word.

Verb

deperson (third-person singular simple present depersons, present participle depersoning, simple past and past participle depersoned)(transitive) To take away essential attributes of a person; to make a human being less of a person.

Have I been name-calling you or de-personing and smearing you? You're complaining the state of social graces as you do this? I called you "bud". I apologize for the undue familiarity.
NO, you have not
And yet choose to do that to me as you complain about social graces on the forum.
You see nothing wrong with that?
Group bullying is fine with you but a single person in disagreement is not?
Attacking the strongest opposing opinion is the most admirable route to rebut something, but I'm still interested in seeing the source that determines your point of view.
There is not just one source for any view. For views on the Ukraine conflict that are not mainstream legacy media like MSNBC or CNN , I include "The Duran"
I did post one video by The Duran, I found it to be a reasonable analysis. I was immediately personally attacked because there is a Russian connection and I think they are pro-Russian. One of the pair is a disbarred lawyer who apparently had a psychiatric breakdown and did wrong to a client. I'm not familiar with the case. I am interested in the facts and analyses presented..

To me, they give better insight and reasoning than liars on MSNBC and they are often talking to someone reporting from Ukraine from the beginning.

I also appreciate Glenn Greenwald for honesty. He's not as "inside" informed as The Duran, but I listen to varied persons including from the left and right
Very true. The most trustworthy analysis right now is coming from Glen Greenwald... the very left. I understand why people are absolutely deluded about what's going on. That's why I listen.

I listen to "the other side" and appreciate those who can at least be honest.
I think this is a more legitimate analysis than you hear on legacy media from either side

Please please please please please stop interacting with "certain members" in this thread! Doing so will only get the thread shut down, and the possibility for everyone else to thoughtfully discuss will be gone.
Best way, “You are ignoring content by this member.”
One doesn’t even see the sentence or posters nom de plume. We only see the warning when the “teatarded“ are quoted. Ignorance in this case is truly bliss.

The problem is the related responses to the commenters I don't see that need to be waded through. I guess I'll just have to add those unable to resist troll bait to my list 🤔.

Yes, you people offering personal attacks and demeaning language post after post certainly could not be the reason that the moderator needs to intervene.

Or you could adopt a mature approach and accept that others have opinions that differ from yours and that could - however rarely - be better informed than your own.

On the train station missile strike. The missile is said to be of an outdated Russian type currently being used by the nazis. One angle being dangled is that it could be that the Russians used an old type to point to Ukrainian forces and not themselves. That possible tactic makes little sense as a false lead by Russia, due to the horrid message painted on the missile, which screams "this was done by Russia".

Update: the missile is identified as a Ukrainian Tochka missile.

Why ignore works.

The Duran is strongly right-leaning news and opinion website with ties to Russian state media. Based in Cyprus, the website’s editor is Alexander Mercouris, who in 2012 was disbarred as an attorney in London. According to the Telegraph, he then went on to become a “pro-Russian commentator on world affairs for Russian TV news outlets and websites.”

  • The Duran is a Questionable source based on far-right-wing bias, promotion of Russian propaganda, and right-wing conspiracies, a lack of transparency, use of poor sources plagiarism and, failed fact checks.

Detailed Report

Reasoning: Russian Propaganda, Conspiracy, Poor Sourcing, Lack of Transparency, Plagiarism, Failed Fact Checks
Bias Rating: FAR RIGHT
Factual Reporting: LOW
Country: Cyrpus (26/180 Press Freedom)
Media Type: Website
Traffic/Popularity: Medium Traffic
MBFC Credibility Rating: LOW CREDIBILITY

Well, the Telegraph certainly never makes stuff up.
BTW, I already mentioned the trouble Alexander Mercouris had. And that he was connected to Russia by the TV station and contacts. Your attempt is to discredit whatever is said by smearing the person...
which is a logical failure.
I also mentioned Glenn Greenwald as a very honest source...it's difficult to be more left than Glenn. He's also gay, married, and they have adopted, I believe. Another fail, Tom, in trying to discredit by smear attack.
