I'm so thankful for the fenders.

I just went for a 34 mile ride at a bike trail and the surface was wet and covered with leaves. I can still feel some water spray reaching my shin but the ebike and me are mostly protected from water splash, dirt, and flying debris.

Ooh, wet leaves on the wooden bridge in that second photo are very slippery, I live in fear of falling on an untreated wooden boardwalk bridge section of my commute that is so notorious for tripping up cyclists it has acquired the nickname trollheim bridge.

Even with front fender located so low to the ground there are still some dirt that found there way up to the bottom bracket.
