I managed to strip out the derailleur hanger bolt threads on my frame

Major problem here!! I was going to take off the back wheel because of my rear fender was scraping the wheel. I think the screw that holding on derailleur hanger was already loose. And the when I took off the wheel the chain was caught on the cassette and pulled the hanger then it came even more loose. Now I can't put back my wheel. Even if I manage to put the wheel wheel back on I'm not confident the derailleur hanger is secure enough.

Does anyone know if the frame warranty covers such defects striped out screw threads on the frame? I have a Specialized Turbo S by the way and there frame is alloy frame.

Call the dealer and ask. Unfortunately stripped threads are usually considered user error. They may have a standard repair method for the situation.

If the dealer route doesn't pan out, I would first try to run a thread tap, of the proper size, through to try and clean up the threads and use a torque wrench set to manufactures specifications and try to reinstall the derailleur with new screws. If that doesn't work, don't stress too much, it still can be repaired using a HeliCoil kit.

They run about $15 - $30 per kit. There are other brands on the market other than HeliCoil.

It's also possible to drill and tap the frame to the next larger size. Probably the same cost as thread repair, but maybe more problematic.

Yeah I heard about helicoil. I have never use it myself is very common on cars repairs like on engine blocks or wheel bolts, but does helicoil comes in smal size as M3, M2 screws? Or maybe using JB-Weld and fill the hole and drill a new hole.

No is not going to work. The threads was stuck in the screw when I pulled it out so it needs to redrill somehow. I'm going to check with the dealer today and see if they can come up with something.
