You are not peddling a bike (selling?) You pedal. When in motion you are pedalling.
When you want to stop you use the brakes. Not breaks, that happens when you stop and rest.

I hear you! The “peddling” thing drives me nuts. Every Crazy Guy On A Bike trip journal ever written seems to be about peddling across the country. But then I am also outraged by the “driver’s wanted” signs on taxicabs. You hire only criminals?

The your and you're mistakes irritate me to no end. Or people who use the past tense when they should be using the participle form: "If I had went there..." It's "had gone", people, "had GONE"!! How can you not hear how wrong it sounds??

Count to 10. It's not my fault. My mother was an English professor...

As in "snuck," e.g. he snuck in. No such word, past tense is sneaked. But nobody uses it. Snuck is now recognized in most dictionaries as a colloquialism.

People could sign up for a free Grammarly account and install a Chrome plug-in that will make suggestions as you type in forms such as this.

Punctuation is often lacking. I have to read some posts on facebook several times to figure out what the poster is actually trying to say. I seen this their a lot!

Perhaps this forum is an escape from what your referring to. As I mentioned in the thread starter, “tongue in cheek, relax”. I can only tolerate so much of the news of today’s world, so here I am.
