I bought a Grizl:ON CF 9, AMA

Grizl CF9 battery overheated and shut off bike. Bike sat for 1 month and it never had this problem before. Took it to REI they seemed less than enthusiastic about it. REI is more mechanical repair and less electrical. The have not figured out the cause yet. Has anyone here had overheating battery issue with the Bosch Performance Line SX Sprint and the 400wh battery?
It's a Canyon, why not contact Canyon direct? Is it still in the 2 year warranty period?

Surely that's the first step with any bike fault, inform the bike company?

Even if it's now out of warranty worth contacting them as they may do a goodwill repair/swap of battery or offer discounted replacement cost. It may be a common issue they are well aware of. And after the Spectral ON EMTB faulty battery recall mess, Canyon will know all about battery faults as it nearly bankrupted the company last year, such a major recall.

Just a follow up. Canyon is covering the cost of the labor to diag the issue. Bosch is covering the cost of a new battery. When they get it in and tested will let you know.

Is REI doing the vendor management, diagnostics, warranty management, and the labor? If so, good on them.

Parts came in and they were easy to install. Installed and configured the dropper too. Configured the screens and did a test ride tonight.

I used this mount to keep the display close to the stem.

Did you remove the rubber grommet that connects to the headset in order to pull the wires of the kiox through? Or did you find a grommet that had an additional 2 holes? It's hard to tell from the picture.

I purchased this 3d mount off Etsy.
