I ride between seven and 8000 miles a year, between commuting and our E tandem. The last few years I was too sick to ride as much, though I'm getting back in there again, but we don't tend to ride on weekdays after work because my wife gets off too late and it's dark and usually raining in winter now. I used to average approximately 17 miles on a commute and intend to 15 miles a day on weekdays after that on the tandem and weekends 40 or some miles twice. Now I do the same 17 miles but we don't ride a tandem till the weekend and we tend to do about 70 miles over the weekend and summer. I think we can get it back up there again. I just figured it out less than six years I put over 53,000 miles on e bikes. I first bike was a bulls brand with a bosch motor at 14,000 miles on it when the bearings on the motor rusted out, I bought a new bike, but then bosch replaced the motor even out of warranty for free. I track and replaced it with now as almost 19,000 miles in 2.5 years the bulls got 14,000 and exactly 2 years are Bosch powered tandem just hit 20,000 miles less than five years we would've had more but one crash that took us out for a month and my wife's shoulder replacement surgery that kept her from riding for four months. What were used to it? We were doing about 100 to 150 miles a week on the tandem now we're about 80 miles but I think we can bring it back up during the summer. Ride by GPS does not have everything but this is pretty close
