My husband and I have JuicedĀ® Bikes (RipCurrent S & HyperScorpion, respectively) that we bought in the Spring of 2023 and they are wonderful bikes.
(yes, we've heard that JuicedĀ® was sold at auction about 10 or 11 days ago šŸ„¹...we're hoping whoever bought it will keep the company going)

We haven't done any major modifications, other than my husband changed the handlebars, pedals, and to a color display on his RipCurrent S and I've changed my pedals, added a black windshield and headlight grille, changed to a color display, in addition to adding a cargo rack and 3" seat riser.
We also changed my HyperScorpion to all-terrain tires and both bikes now have Tannus Armour tire inserts (we both work on our bikes).

We usually ride locally on streets and dirt trails that allow e-bikes. We're not speed-demons or anything so on dirt trails, we keep our bikes set to Eco or 1.

Welcome to the forum! It's great to hear you both are enjoying your Juiced bikes. I hope the new owners of Juiced continue supporting the brand and community. Wishing you many more wonderful rides exploring local trails on your e-bikes.

welcome, the more the merrier.I would imagine you are going to see many more ebike vendors go under, after all it is a niche market and a lot of these bikes are just rebranded whatevers, its good that you all can do the work on your bikes, you have found the key to ebikes, contentment.Being on the bike is much better than sitting on the couch.

Welcome fellow southern Californians! First of all yay go Dodgers!
Anyways, it will be interesting to see what happens to juiced Bikes. Watch out for them to restart as a different company with the same exact bikes and parts. Any companies that go under resurface the very next day under a similar yet different name hope you guys have fun out there on the trails of Southern California, I'm mostly on the Pacific electric Trail up in the inland Empire.

Yes.....Congratulations to the Dodgers! We don't follow sports all that much but what we've seen with the current Dodgers' lineup, strategy, talent, etc. the current team is one of the most cohesive teams we've seen in a long time :)šŸ‘

We did a lot of research on ebikes for almost a year before we decided on JuicedĀ®. My husband even considered converting our mountain bikes into ebikes, but thankfully I found JuicedĀ® before he did that! (whew!) JuicedĀ® checked off all the boxes for what we hoped to find in an affordable ebike compared to other brands. I wasn't even going to get one right away; I ordered my husband's first, but two days later I decided to order mine as well. We both got the discontinued frame finish of brushed aluminum because it saved us each about $500, but we also really like the finish.

We still feel that JuicedĀ® bikes are exceptional quality, compared to other brands we looked at and really hoped the rumors we were hearing about JuicedĀ® going under weren't true, but then I saw the auction for myself which confirmed the sad truth. Given the low amount the company was purchased for ($1.2m) I actually hope it does re-emerge as JuicedĀ® Bikes and the employees will still have jobs because they are all really good people. Whenever I had a question or needed a part or product (even as small as two screws for my fender) JuicedĀ® employees were there.

usually what happens is this the company is looted and dissolved the former empoyees are given a chance to move with the assets, usually they dont want to follow the company that took over you can bet the buyer will come out way ahead of the game, renting or repurposing the former company building into storage units or just finding a buyer that would probably pretty much pay for the takeover,it happened aroung more than once, greed was the motivating factor. By this time I have pretty much lost faith in the business model( one exception was Arizona tea-they didnt raise prices just because they could)

They sound like they had great customer service and a loyal fan base

Based on all of our interactions with JuicedĀ® personnel and the quality of their bikes, yes...GREAT customer service and bikes! šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘ We couldn't be happier with our experience, which is why the current status of JuicedĀ® is so upsetting šŸ˜”. Hopefully, the company will emerge again...and soon.

I have a Juiced Hyper Scrambler that I lowered 3 inches and put Honda motorcycle shocks on the back, I is a hoot to ride, feels like riding a mini Ducati motorcycle, handles great on the street stays up with traffic easily. It rides trails too, but the stock tires have limits off of tarmac. I placed an alarm in it hidden in the frame, so if you wanna use a portable potty on the trail or go in and get a Starbuck's you can hit the fob and it gives distinct sound that it is armed ,and if shaken or moved will trigger a loud ,,constant alarm. It is an Urban baby Gorilla that is fun to ride. It has the factory up graded controller , shorter crank arms , different pedals, a custom built seat that I haven't run, except to test it.
