Well after months and months of researching and evaluating just about every electric bike manufacturer and all the different bikes they offer. I would have never thought there were so many manufacturers, offering a plethora of styles and options. I logged a butt-load of online mileage while taking meticulous notes.
The ones making it past the swimsuit segment and onto the talent portion of the contest was the Cube Reaction Hybrid, Juiced CrossCurrent X and the Rize RX. Although the Cube won the swimsuit contest hands down, it was the first bike eliminated. I just don't believe I would be happy with 20mph as the maximum speed.
The next bike to be eliminated was the CrossCurrent X. Juiced came in a close 2nd, especially when they dropped the price from $2499 to $2199. The Rize Rx took the crown because of the 1000W mid-drive motor, shift sensor, suspension seat post, integrated brake light, steel derailer guard, 3a charger and the full-color display. I was all set to order, but now I can't decide between the black and the red. Tomorrow if I still haven't reached a decision, I am going to flip a coin.

Welcome! I certainly agree with you regarding the fantastic choices in ebikes available to us today. When we bought our first ones in 2010, pretty much all I was able to find (much less see in the flesh) were Pedego cruisers. And when I ultimately sold those earlier this year, I didn't immediately realize the can of worms I had opened regarding buying replacements.

But now we've got ebikes for general and specific purposes, and have extras for some small group rides when friends come over or when family visits. All is good!

That Rize red is awfully bright - might even be seen by sleepy cagers absorbed in their smartphones. But my vote goes to the black one (red 'disappears' at night anyway, hence the reason so many fire departments changed from red engines to 'slime lime' ones, before the widespread use of improved reflective striping materials).

WWR - Just curious to know your thoughts and experience with the Rize RX. I am between the Cross Current S & RX a the moment & would love to know how things are going for you and your purchase?
