Hey guys i need help

Hey guys i'm new to Electric bikes and i'm having trouble deciding which kit to buy.

i need the bike to get me to my college which is not far from my home its only 4 miles away but almost all of it is uphills ill say more than half the way is uphills and the last little bit is really steep.
i was looking at the Dillenger Electric Bike Kit 1000W – 48V 10Ah Lithium Ion Battery but i don't know if its a little to over kill for my needs

So if you guys could help me chose one that's not to expensive and that would get me to my college with little effort so that i'm not tired and sweaty and i don't really need to use the motor in the way back since its downhill i just want it to get me there.

Be aware a 48V 1000 Watt motor is going to drain that battery and kill your range in no time flat when you climb those hills or insist on going 30 MPH. Wind drag is a drag: (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) . Look at the chart on the bottom of the page, kind of shocking isn't it? .... so if you are buying that kit so you can hit higher speeds as well as climbing hills, you gotta think again. Consider a geared 750 watt, 20Ah solution instead. For a base line reference, here is a video of a Motiv beach cruiser style bike with a 48 volt 10Ah battery, pulling with a 500 watt geared rear hub motor, attempting climbs at various inclines:

You can see where the bike slows down. Compare those inclines to your hills. Also follow this thread: http://electricbikereview.com/community/threads/considering-building-my-own-e-bike.686/#post-7245 and look at the video I re-posted there of the Bafang BBS02 750W .

Hi calvin thanks for the response i found a 750W BBS02 with a 50v 9.5ah battery kit is that better?
