Hi, I just got my Rize Leisure today and assembled it with almost no problems. My question is, what is the red knob on top of the right hand front fork that says Lock on it and the black knob on the top of the left hand fork? There is no mention about these in the owner manual. Thanks for your help.

I don't have the bike, but those sounds like standard suspension lock and preload. The lock keeps the suspension from traveling. The preload adjusts the compression of the spring. Based on your weight and riding, you can adjust it. Do a quick search on bike suspension preload for details on how to set.

Thank you very much for your help with this. Your answer makes total sense. I am 73 years old and brand new to biking this style. I will look this up and adjust. :)

You can roll your bike and apply the front brake strongly to see how the fork is reacting...if it plunges down a bit, then lock is not engaged. Try different positions to see how it reacts with sudden braking and wheel lockup.

Be careful if it's your first ebike. Keep the brakes on when stopped to avoid surprises. When making a right turn from stops, look ahead to where you want to go and don't falter, do the turn strongly and don't look down.
I'd say use the throttle when first learning.
Watch out for accidental engagement of "walk" mode when walking the bike and it's turned on.
