Biktrix (higher end) and Rize (economical) are Canadian companies that make good bikes with the powerful Bafang motor and throttle. I own one of each (Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra mid drive and Rize Blade hub drive) and like them both. My local bike shop has repaired non-motor issues on the Juggernaut after a crash with no hassle. I am not worried about the motor long term because the bikes are relatively inexpensive compared to Specialized and Trek, and I am already ready to upgrade to a Wattwagons bike (I'm waiting to see the new Crosstour once it is produced) anyways.
Edit: I just noticed you asked about top speed. The Rize Blade has a top speed of about 40 km/h, and the Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra has a top speed of 50 km/h. The 50 km/h limit can be removed, and the bike will probably go between 50-60 km/h (Wattwagons has programmed the Bafang Ultra to possibly go even faster).
