I just purchased a Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 :)

It was the last ordered by my LBS, to be delivered soon (hopefully by the end of April).....

We still have some snow on the ground but the roads are clear. Bike pathways should be cleared and cleaned within a month. Just can't wait to ride this bike.

Great choice you got there and getting the larger battery will extend your ride. Did you get the step thru?
I'm in Cote St Luc and ride when the weather is at least 7c and last Sun we did 35kms for a few hours

Bienvenu from the other CA.
Yesterday's ride with one of my town eBikes to a French Café for lapin de moutarde.

Took the trapeze one. I wanted the dark version but only the lunar grey was available. It was a reasonable compromise. Same for my wife. Got the small one for her and medium for me. I could not test it as I reserved it in early February. I am glad I went early but I am still stressed that it won’t be delivered. I’ll keep my fingers crossed 😃

E2 sports. They seemed to know their stuff and no BS. Also bought the Thule easy fold XT2. My current one will be on Kijiji soon. Plus abus locks, etc.

It is funny that you mention île d’Orleans as it was my standard ride length when shopping for a bike. I did it in ´77 and want to do it again. A ride of more that 70 km with lots of wind. There is a steep hill going off the bridge and when we were coming back against the wind, exhausted, we were dreaming of coasting down that hill. Well, the wind was so strong that we had to pedal down the hill.
Just can’t wait to do it again... on my Cube Kathmandu 😀😀

Welcome.
I went through Montreal for the first time in February. Be nice to go back in the summer.
Stayed one night in Montmagny. Coolest town I've ever been in.
The people in Quebec were the nicest we met on a cross country road trip, even considering we have pretty much lost all of our high school french. What's even worse is I keep mixing French up with my meagre Spanish. CN

I have found that when you try your very best to speak French, suddenly people become helpful and welcoming. I adore the apples on the Island. And the strawberries! What about the cheeses? Women seem to be more comfortable with themselves in Quebec. They are naturally lovely without trying.
