Hello! (Aventon Pace500)

Hello,

After hours of search, I’ve just got my first e-bike - Aventon Pace500. It has pros and cons, yet most importantly, the eBike is fun to ride.
After moving to hilly area, conventional bikes have been left in the garage (personally I have a bad knee), and I forgot how fun it was riding a bike. Stoked to ride a two-wheel with a smile again.

Looking forward to exchanging thoughts in here.:)

Welcome to the forum @Jun .

Congrats on the new ride and glad to hear that you are enjoying it again. It is amazing how much more time we can spend riding with a little help of today's technology.
Wish you many enjoyable miles.

Awesome! I also got into electric bikes because of knee sensitivity. The Aventon Pace 500 is an amazing value and I hope you enjoy it! Did you have it shipped or buy from a local shop? I have heard that they can be time-consuming to build but haven't built one myself yet... just saw them at the headquarters a while back when filming the review :)

After test drive couple eBikes, I realize that the spec data don’t really reflect the actual feeling you get from riding. (Especially under $3k, the specs often do not match actual performance.)

Pace500 outperforms most similar price range eBikes that have higher torque / power on paper. This bike feels agile, fast and reliable.

I bought one from local shop, electric bike center in Fullerton. I got it assembled too. If you buy from them w/o assembly, you can get small discount as well. Hope this helps.

For someone who is new to it, assembles in about an hour, but a chunk of that is for removing all the protective foam packaging. It's very well packaged for shipping, and rarely have I seen one arrive with damage.
